Yet another book recommendation article. How repetitive. Read it anyways!

As I said in Special Alerts (check it out if you haven't already), I have been reading a lot recently. And even though I'm not going to be publishing movie and poem recommendations unless it's a special occasion, I still want to have the occasional book talk in which no one talks. I will type, and you will read, and yet it will still be called a book talk. I have made a list of tween books which I have read recently that I think are decent. Some I would like to point out are The Hunger Games, which everyone has heard of, and Land of the Cranes by Aida Salazar. She also wrote another great book entitled The Moon Within. Each of the links goes to the book's Goodreads page. The Hate U Give is our featured book, meaning I'm going to give it the honor of having its summary written out because it's so good! Here goes:
Skyward by Brandon Sanderson
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Scythe by Neal Shusterman
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Stargazing by Jen Wang
We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly
Fish in a Tree by Linda Mullaly Hunt
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas:
Sixteen-year-old Starr Carter leads a double-life. At home, in a Black neighborhood ridden with drug lords that is nicknamed the Ghetto, she uses slang and the like. At school, a mainly-white place, she tries to fit in, doesn't use slang, tries to avoid ever being accused of living in the Ghetto. But then her childhood best friend, Khalil, gets shot by a police officer, and she is the one and only witness. Suddenly her two worlds collide and she has to figure out how she is going to take a stand and find justice for Khalil.
We will be back with more book talks soon. If you have a book to recommend, email us at info@dawnofink.com and we will take your suggestion into consideration.
