I have watched all of the recommendations, and they are perfect!
This month's recommendations:
John Lewis: Good Trouble PG
I would like all parents to note that this documentary contains actual recordings of times when black people were hurt or mistreated because of the color of their skin. This documentary contains videos of white people beating colored folks because of a march. It may be PG, but some still might freak out when watching it. Anyway, why should you watch this? Well, it's a good movie that addresses racism and voting issues, and it talks about John Lewis, a fighter in the civil rights movement who stood beside MLK Jr., and who, sadly, recently passed away. Celebrate John Lewis by watching this movie. We will not forget his legacy.
Miss Congeniality PG-13
And now, on a happier note, we turn to Miss Congeniality. This movie is about a woman working in the FBI. She's messy, unruly, and most definitely not girly. But then the FBI realizes that they have to have an agent go undercover in the Miss United States pageant, and they have no one to choose but her. How does it work out? Well, I'm not giving away the whole story!
School of Rock PG-13
After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn decides to work as a substitute teacher to get some money. Once he realizes that the students in the class play instruments, he begins to form a plan. Why can't he make a rock band? Who says he can't do it? Dewey puts his skills to the test as he tries something others would call absolutely crazy!
If you ask me my favorite out of those, I would say John Lewis: Good Trouble is definitely the top one, but the others are great, too!
