What is the craziest book of all time? Well, of course it's subjective, but here is my pick.

I have searched many websites for what the most mysterious and crazily odd books are. You know what has been on the list every time? This one. The Voynich Manuscript.
The Voynich Manuscript is literally the world's most mysterious book. Nobody knows who wrote or illustrated it, and it might as well be a hoax because no one can understand the language it's written in. Yup, it's the one pictured above alright. Crazy drawings line the pages and so far, no one has cracked the code of the Voynich Manuscript (well, it could be a hoax and there would be no code to crack) and it will remain one of history's mysteries until someone does.
Thought to have been made in the 15th or 16th centuries, it is named after antique/rare bookseller Wilfrid Voynich who, in 1912, purchased the book. It has been held in the Yale University Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library where scholars have pored over it. The illustrations in the manuscript have been categorized into six groups: botany, astronomy/astrology, biology, cosmology, pharmaceutical, and a section that appears to be recipes. As you can guess, the illustrations correspond with the categories, the botany section having flowers, the astronomy/astrology category having arrangements of astronomical bodies, and the biology category having drawings of naked women connected by tubes and liquids. The cosmology category has drawings of nine medallions filled with stars and other shapes, and the pharmaceutical section shows what are believed to be medicinal plants. No one knows for sure where it came from, but one popular theory is that it belonged to Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II, who ruled from 1576 to 1611. Anyway, the Voynich Manuscript certainly is crazy among other things. Will we ever know where it came from? Will we ever?
